Common Visa Questions
How long does the invitation letter take?
Letters are issued within 5 business days of a verified registration. If you haven't received yours within 7 business days, email registration@isha2027.com with your delegate ID.
Is the invitation letter a guarantee of visa approval?
No. The letter confirms that you are a registered delegate and supports your visa application, but the final decision rests with the Government of India. Apply early to allow time for any clarifications.
I need to bring my spouse / accompanying person. Do they need a separate visa?
Yes — each individual requires their own visa. Accompanying persons typically apply under the Tourist Visa category. We can include their names on your invitation letter if you specify in the form above.
Can I extend my stay for tourism in Rajasthan?
Yes — check the validity of your visa carefully. The e-Conference Visa allows up to 30 days; for longer stays, apply for a Conference Visa from your embassy. See our Discover Jodhpur page for ideas.
What if my visa is denied?
If you receive a denial, contact us immediately. We can sometimes provide additional documentation to support a re-application. Refer to our registration page for the refund policy.
Do delegates from SAARC countries need a visa?
Nepalese and Bhutanese nationals do not require a visa for short stays. Delegates from other SAARC countries (Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Pakistan, Afghanistan) should apply for a Conference Visa via the nearest Indian mission.
