ISHA 2027 opens with a full day of intensive, hands-on workshops on 4 February 2027 at AIIMS Jodhpur. Both workshops run in parallel from 09:00 to 18:00, so each delegate may register for only one. Conference registration is separate — workshop attendees may also attend the main scientific sessions on 5–7 February.

ANDROLOGY

Semen Analysis for Andrology

A practical, microscope-driven workshop covering WHO-compliant semen analysis protocols, morphology assessment, computer-assisted analysis (CASA), and laboratory quality control. Designed for andrologists, embryologists, reproductive medicine specialists, and PG students in reproductive medicine.

BONE RETRIEVAL

Bone Retrieval Workshop

Hands-on training in cadaveric bone retrieval techniques, defleshing protocols, skeletal articulation, and long-term preservation methods for teaching collections and anatomy museums. Designed for anatomy faculty, technical staff, and PG students responsible for departmental specimen libraries.

  • Disarticulated specimen storage and labelling for teaching collections
  • Specimen documentation, cataloguing, and digital archiving
  • Long-term preservation in tropical climates — humidity, pest, and degradation control
  • Live demonstrations and hands-on practice on prepared specimens
